Will this game ever be put on the Meta Store?
No, there are thousands of these game copies on the Meta Store destroying the store, so we choose the sideload method instead.
Can you add mods to the game like longarms?
No... just no
Why make a old VR revival.
There are lots of VR revivals that do our job but there are problems, homophobic or toxic owners, underage owners, people who put viruses in the game (<-- yes that happens). But we dont do that and we have spent time removing photon engine and replacing it with our own, fast, better networking system.
That to us is why we are somewhat unique.
How can I be a moderator?
You cant, we only choose a handful of people to be moderators. There is not a form you fill out and then 3 days later you are a moderator.
Tell me a bit about the networking.
We call our networking system "OnSite". To make sure our servers are fast, lightweight and stable we write them in Rust, and other services like the director or Discord bot are written in NodeJS.
We dont use traditional VPS hosting, we use a different amount of tools like playit.gg & portwarp, and volunteers host a or some servers on their hardware. What we do doesn’t break their TOS.
